British Embassy, Oman

Novell Tullett was commissioned to design the landscape scheme for the British Embassy in Oman. The scheme comprised access routes, parking, public and private gardens and leisure facilities including a shaded swimming pool and tennis court.

The scheme was designed using planting appropriate to the climate combined with an irrigation system. This was particularly important for the lawned areas, which create the setting for the embassy offices. Green roofs were specified for several of the accommodation buildings.
